Announcing some new ways we can help you to stay ahead of change

Sometimes it can feel like work life is an avalanche of events, always just ahead of us.

At LookUP, we are on a mission to help people stay ahead of change.

In our conversations with people this year, we’ve seen a real state of flux, and lots of people are wrestling with key moments and new challenges in their working lives.

Finding the right inspiration, the actionable frameworks, and a supportive space to look up can make a big difference to how you move forwards.

That’s what we do at LookUP - which is why one of our annual subscribers describes us as a ‘Work Life Gym’!

And that’s why we’ve taken a deep look at everything we’ve learnt in the first year of LookUP, to create three new ways that we can support you…

1. Mentoring: Stay Ahead Sessions

If you are at a crucial moment of re-evaluating your work life strategy, the network you need to thrive, or the way you tell your story, these sessions will help you stay ahead.

What is it? A 1 hour virtual one-to-one session, in which Caroline or Matthew mentor you through the area that matters most to you, based on our FutureMaker, CommunityBuilder and StoryTeller frameworks.

How does it work? Get in touch with your question via stayahead@wearelookup.com and we will send you the relevant framework, some key prompting questions, and fix a time for the Session. We’ll then discuss it with you, and support you in refining your thinking. We will follow up afterwards with any relevant further reading.

What does it cost? These sessions have a standard cost of £300+VAT - with a standard 10% discount for all annual paid Substack subscribers.

2. Learning: Be the Director

Our Be the Director approach has a proven impact in helping people to take control of their stories, in a way that connects with their most important audiences.

Today, we are launching our new Be the Director Workshops. If you are looking to refresh your personal story as you approach a career change, or simply want to maximise your levels of influence and impact, this experience is for you!

What is it? A workshop, in which Caroline and Matthew will:

• fill you with inspiration from Experts in personal storytelling

• guide you through useful frameworks to build your story

• create a supportive, collaborative environment to try new things with your peers.

You can either do this as a full day in-person, or start off with a 2-hour virtual session.

How does it work? The next session is on Thursday September 19th in central London, or if you take the virtual session, that will be the following week on Tuesday September 24th. We will share some light pre-work, and then look forward to seeing you there.

What does it cost? The Be the Director London session costs £500, and the virtual session is £150. Both have a 10% discount for all annual paid Substack subscribers.

3. Subscriptions: New Memberships

We will always have a free membership option, to welcome in a wider audience who want to access our regular newsletters, interviews and LookUP Lists.

But thanks so much to those of you who have already signed up for our paid subscriptions. We’ve had lots of positive feedback from everyone on the experience so far, and also learnt a lot about what is most valuable to all of you.

As a result of that learning, we are making a couple of changes to our paid membership, and adding an additional tier in light of some of the new offerings above.

Paid Membership

Every month from now, in addition to access to all our regular newsletters, interviews and LookUP Lists, you will receive:

• An exclusive monthly post with a new framework and a how-to guide

• Paid subscriber-exclusive Notes where you can interact with us and your peers

• A 10% discount and advanced booking warning for all Workshops and Courses

• A 10% discount on Stay Ahead mentoring sessions

The price for this remains £10 per month, or £100 per year.

Full Membership

In our highest tier of Membership, as well as all the free content, and the paid subscription benefits of exclusive frameworks, Notes, and 10% discounts on courses, you will be able to book two Stay Ahead mentoring sessions on any topic, at any point in the year.

The price for this is £500 per year - effectively making the Substack membership free in return for booking the two Sessions, and getting a discount on the Sessions.

Hopefully these new offerings will give you new ways to Look Up, and stay ahead of change.
